Liechtenstein's national holiday is held annually on August 15.

Morning: Official act of state with speeches by H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein and President of the Parliament Albert Frick

Afternoon: Big folk festival in the Städtle of Vaduz

Evening: Lighting of the bonfires and torchlight procession along the Fürstensteig

10:00 pm: Fireworks in Vaduz

2:00 am: End of the festival. 2.30 am: Last busses homebound.
